Waterborne acrylic modified epoxy ester resin specification

Main components: Waterborne acrylic modified epoxy ester resin, co-solvent and N.N-dimethyl ethanolamine.

Appearance:brown transparent viscous liquid
Non-volatile content: 70±2%
Hydroxyl number (calculated): 130mgKOH/g (solid resin)
Acid number (calculated): 25mgKOH/g (solid resin)
PH: 7.0-9.0
Application:
HD-BE314 resin has to combine waterborne amino resin to make baking coating. The suggested amount is about 15-20% of HD-BE314 by weight. The baking schedule and film properties is varied from the type and amount of amino resin. Acid catalyst such as catalyst D made by my company can be added to accelerate cross-linking reaction.
Specialty:
HD-BE314 can be diluted with water to any density. The diluted resin is transparent and stable. If the resin latex is opaque, N, N-dimethyl ethanolamine is added to cause it transparent. Viscosity will increase as the pH increase.
The diluted system is stale to high shear speed The dispersion can be directly used in grinding .
Storage:
Suggested storage temperature is 0-40℃. Best be used within one year after it is produced.
